The Teasers for the month of May are out! I had a quick look through them and it is going to be a pretty good month on Isidingo that should keep us firmly glued in front of our TV’s. I am so glad that Parsons has decided to leave Nandipha and all her money alone. It was not worth it. Parsons has done the right thing by deciding Nandipha should just keep what is hers and he will keep what is his. When I saw Parsons tell Thandi this and then seeing Thandi’s reaction, it proved to me that Thandi really wanted the money. She was disappointed with Parsons decision. Now hopefully this whole Parsons and Nandipha divorce can finally be put to bed and they can both move on with their lives. But this being a soapie we know it will not end well. There is a twist that is going to happen. Who knows, maybe Parsons and Nandipha are going to get back together…

Being a woman myself, I know how sensitive the issue of weight is. Maggie is not taking it very well of late and she is also being very depressed about being lonely. Maggie has not had a partner for a while now and it is taking a toll on her and she thinks that maybe the reason no man wants her is because of her weight. And it is not helping that she is being ‘picked on’ by Calvin and Stella. I believe Maggie is a strong woman and she is going to get through this whole depression and weight issue.

Credit to the directors of Isidingo for what they are doing; highlighting the issue of weight amongst women. If they can get Maggie to loose weight and become confident with herself again, it will be a great example to other woman out there who have the same problem she is facing.

I think it is only a matter of time. Barker really has no options right now but to turn to Faro and take up her offer. Faro has asked Barker to mentor her to become the business tycoon he once was. Faro has some cash to start something but Barker does not believe her. Some viewers have suggested that this is the end of Barker from Isidingo but I am pretty sure Barker is still going to be on our screens for a while to come and he will bounce back.

Barker should just swallow his pride for a change and take this opportunity to kick start his life again.

I bet you Nandipha hates this whole ‘marriage in community’ law now! Okay, let us look at it this was, Parsons and Nandipha were married in community of property so if there were to divorce, as is the case now, they have to equally share what they have. Now Nandipha has much more money than Parsons and now she has to give some of it to Parsons. Nandipha’s argument is that she made this cash after Parsons was already dating Thandi. But the law is the law and Nandipha can not change that. As unfair as it may seem, Nandipha has to share this five hundred thousand rand.

What is funny is how Thandi wants this cash so badly. Does she want it because it is the law, and Nan has to give it up or she actually wants it so she can use it?

What a shock! Who would ever have thought that Barker Haines would end up sleeping on the streets, covering himself in cardboard boxes? Well, that is exactly what has happened. Barker has lost everything he had. His last shot was the UK lottery ticket which has now been confiscated.

From drinking single malt whiskey in his penthouse and driving in the latest cars, all off that has come to an end. I guess it just goes to show how funny life can be. One moment you can be up there and the next you will be rock bottom.

But I have a funny feeling that Barker is going to bounce back. He can not be down and out for long. And I think his only way back is through Faro. Watch this space!

We would like to apologise to all Isidingo fans for the lack of activity on this blog over the last four months. So much has happened on Isidingo but hopefully now we will be back in the swing of things and keep you posted and updated with what is happening on the Soapie.
