It seems like there could be a lot of deaths right now on Isidingo!

Sifiso had a shot at lolly but luckily Lolly is not dead but Sifiso could be! He ran away and called his father to come speak to him. Now Sifiso asked his father to kill him, and at the end of the episode on Friday we heard a gun shot so we have to wait until today to see if anyone did get shot or it was the police who got there and shot someone having being tipped of by Katlego on the whereabouts of Sifiso.

On the other hand, Benjamin has had enough with his life and was writing a letter to Daniel telling him that by the time he reads this he may be dead. I am not quite sure if Benjamin has the guts to kill himself.

Today’s episode is going to be very interesting as we await to see what will happen!

Oh My Gosh!! OMG!!! Who would ever have thought that Nikiwe would turn out to be the Karabo or Dineo of Isidingo. We saw how Karabo and Dineo slept with almost every man in Generations and Nikiwe is following suite.

First of all she was on and off with Frank of all people, then she had what I thought would be a good relationship with Vusi but that did not work out well, and now there is the chance of her being with Benjamin after their kiss yesterday!

What has gotten into Nikiwe? Who do you think she will end up being with? Frank, Vusi or Benjamin?

Haai, there seem to be a lot happening in Isidingo these days, one thing is for sure at this moment it’s the only soapie with the hottest cast and storyline in South Africa (a killer combination if I must say).

So the CEO of Bokamoso has done it again, once again he finds himself at the ‘bottom’ coz of His ‘tjatjarag-ness’, so I coudn’t help wonder what he is going to do next. Sell his shares out of spite or stay at Bokamoso and fight for what is his? Whatever he dicides to do one thing is for sure, knowing Sechaba there is going to be a lot of drama which we can all look forward to…..

How I wish Braam could come back as a ghost and start haunting Benjy. Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving the storyline currently but I just think it could get more interesting with Braam as a ghost. I mean Ben is already losing his mind, imagine if Braam was around! Once upon a time there was a naive teenage girl named Charlie, eish that girl is just too much. I guess it is a good thing that she is no longer running after Ben. What’s going to happen next we will just have to wait and see….

The mess that Sofia has got herself into, leaves one with some lingering thought. In retrospect how could Sofia and Benjamin mistaken someone who was unconscious for a corpse? My mind just can’t reconcile the two. I’m not a medical doctor nor do I have any background in the medical field, but I don’t think it’s really that hard to distinguish between the two, dead and passed out.

But then again, I could also be wrong?! Maybe the stress of the predicament they found themselves in took its toll on them? But still, I’m not convinced. What’s your take on this issue?

Sofia should just compose herself and get her wits about her and start to interrogate Benjamin. Somethings just don’t add up and I doubt that it would take a brain surgeon to connect the dots. Benjamin was the last one to see the ‘supposed dead body’ of their father and now it has transpired from the pathologist’s report that their father died in the fire and not from the fall on the stairs. Surely that should rouse some suspicion from ‘Fia’…?!

But she is just too meek and easily impressionable to see right through her conniving brother. She needs prayer, to help open her eyes. So the next time any of you guys bow down to pray, please spare a prayer or two for Sofia, she needs it.

Let me get my skepticism out of the way and move on to other characters.

Will the news of Sofia’s ‘temporary’ detention/interrogation push ‘looney’ Marlien over the edge? Will she revert to her previous, zombie-like state? She can’t handle any more pressure. She’ll eventually ‘crack’, I can ‘smell’ it…

Ayanda, Sifiso, Harvard University, sexual assault, bursary from the Sibeko’s company…Hmm! Can any of you connect the dots? Well, only time will smooth the truth out for us, so it’s best we stay tuned…’Til later guys…Peace…

So much drama in The Deep. The arrest of Marlien has Sofia in a tight corner, she is feeling the heat, she wants to confess some supposed ‘truth’ that her father died at her hands. Little does she know that her father has been alive all along. Benjamin is the perfect puppet master, he is running the show and Sofia is none the wiser. How can anyone doubt a pathologist report? Benjamin really has Sofia dancing to his tune.

But it also looks like young ‘Benji’ is also feeling the pinch, his hands were trembling last night. Could he be crumbling under the pressure of this whole predicament he has put himself in?

Daniel is the only sane Le Roux, he really is his fathers son, he has the qualities of Braam. He is trustworthy and has an incorruptible moral compass. There’s no doubt in my mind that Daniel is indeed Braam’s son. I surmise that Sofia is adopted and that Benjamin is Fanie’s son, because Fanie too was devious. It’s a shame that Daniel has to carry all this load, let’s hope and pray that he’ll be the glue that holds this family together.

Some interesting revelations were made last night, apparently this animosity between Ayanda and Sifiso is due to the fact that, Ayanda believes that Sifiso was responsible for the death of her (Ayanda’s) son (Siyabonga)…Hmm! Can’t wait until all is revealed

What’s Cherel’s latest scheme? What project was she referring to? It certainly has Barker intrigued.

On a lighter side, Sechaba provides a much needed comic relief from the serious storylines of the show, he just cracks me up in laughter.
Kudos to him for a job well done.

Intrigue, intrigue and more intrigue. Can’t wait for the clock to hit 18h30…Til then guys…Ciao!

Wow wow and wow! Now this is interesting. Ayanda leaves and Jefferson’s wife has this totally smug look on her face. What’s up with that? Did you’ll see the piece of paper in Ayanda’s jewellery box? “Beaten to death” I think I know what’s happening there! Ooh talking about Jefferson, how’s that conversation Franl had on the phone with Lincoln? Lollys not onto us yet he said. Whooooo I think Frank has some skeletons in his cupboard.

Ooohhh wait, better yet I love the way the script writers put dramatic irony in this programme, for example Marlien saying the thought of Braam’s murderer at his funeral is sickening, eish I’d say. Look I know Braam was a powerful man, but to film his funeral, I reckon that’s a little freaky.

Holy cow Benjamin had me bawling my eyes out at the funeral, imagine how guilty he feels saying all this stuff? It just shows you how brilliant these actors and actresses are. South Africa can do it just like Hollywood I reckon. They let us have real feelings towards the characters, these guys have to take a lot of flack on the street.

I know how mad I felt when Cherel got away with that passport arghhhh made me so angry. And the way she waltzed into the church to speak about her beloved husband. I seriously reckon Barker and Cherel somewhere deep inside still have this sick love for one another.

Okay what is up with the police arresting Marlien in the church? What, they couldn’t wait until she went outside? I don’t think she could’ve run away.

Question for today is, will Benjamin let his mother go to jail for something he actually did? Especially cause Charlie believes there’s a freaky blackmailer?

Well till tomorrow my friends ill deep you later :)

Hey all you Horizon Deepians,

I so wanna get chatting to you about the story at the moment but let’s get to the local favorite. This has gotta be Benjamin le Roux.

Ah this oakes a clever little fox hey. I wouldn’t call him sly but he definatly is clever. This character is played by a guy by the name of Arno Marais. He’s nothing like his character and in fact he’s totally opposite. He’s a guy who has a passion for what he does. Last year he fought for his life and won. Now we are lucky enough to see him on our screens. Benjamin does what he does not only to protect himself but also to protect his family. Sort of the same way Kimberly does anything to protect her son.

Oooh talking about Kimberly, what a number she pulled on Daniel hey. Eish! Poor oak was blindsided one way. Losing a baby that wasn’t even yours, shooweee talk about harsh. I am happy to report though that Stephen van Niekerk (Daniel le Roux) has recently become a daddy and is loving every moment.

Let’s talk secrets, who’s the Le Roux who in fact is not a Le Roux? Who is it going to be? I have no idea. But what I can telll you is Sophia (Jenna Dunster) is sadly leaving The Deep. Maybe it is her, maybe it is not! I can’t wait to hear.

Also what did the Sfiso character do , or not do to Ayanda? I smell a biiiigggg rat coming.

Well till we meet again this is your deep skinner bek signing out.

HorizonDeep.co.za would like to welcome Sam as part of the blogging team.

Who do you think is not a Le Roux?

Braam Le Roux is dead, well atleast according to the storyline we are seeing now. Being a soapie we all know that anything can happen. Just look at Tau returning from the dead in Generations!

For now we have to believe what we are seeing and that is Braam was killed when Marlien burnt the house down and Braam was tied up in the cellar by Benjamin. What I find to be a bit frustrating though with the storyline is that why did they keep Braam to be alive for such a long time when they were going to kill him off in any case?

Now that the police have confirmed that Braam is dead, they are going to need to investigate further and find out what actually happened and who will be pinned with Braam’s death. As it stands now, Marlien is being charged for arson for burning down the house. If Braam was in the house and Marlien is guilty of arson will she then automatically be charged with the murder of Braam?

Will the police somehow find a way to prove that Cherel was responsible for somehow putting Braam in the cellar. How will they prove if Braam was alive or dead before the fire?

What about Sophia? She believes that she killed her father a long time ago. We all know that Benjamin is at fault for all of this but how are the police going to deal with it?

Who do you think is going to be found guilty of Braam's death?

The plot thickens now on Isidingo as Braam le Roux escaped yesterday from the cell his son Benjamin was keeping him in. I was wondering all this time why Braam wanted Benjamin to give him a radio but Benjamin bought him one and his father broke it so he could get a wire to use to uncuff himself. He managed to do so successfully but he was not able to break out of the cell.

Instead he waited for Benjamin to come into the cell and he beat him (no spanky spanky) with a plank which knocked Benjamin out and Braam ran away.

Where will Braam run away to I wonder? Will Benjamin wake up in time to chase after his father and catch him as surely Braam has no idea where he is and he can not be strong enough to outrun Benjamin. What do you think is going to happen?

One thing though before I sign off, I must commend the Isidingo make-up team for a job well done on what they did to Braam’s face, he really looks like sh**!

Filed Under (Benjamin, Rajesh) by Ron on May-20-2011

Isidingo continues to prove why it is the top soapie in South Africa! The storyline is gripping and the cast are playing their part in keeping us entertained and glued to our seats come 18:30 every week day.

Now we have the drama between Rajesh and Benjamin. Benjamin now has the missing evidence from his fathers case that Rajesh had stolen from the police station for Cherel. Now Benjamin is asking Rajesh to help him put Cherel in prison if Benjamin finds Rajesh’s son. How Benjamin plans to find the son, I have no idea!

What I do not get is why did Rajesh not just tell Benjamin to go to the cops and say that he got found the evidence and Rajesh had stolen it? It would have been Rajesh’s word against Benjamin’s. There is no clear cut evidence that points to Rajesh stealing the evidence even if Benjamin has it. Be that as it may, it will be interesting now to see Benjamin and Rajesh ‘working together’.

Benjamin now has a lot of pwer as he is in Barker’s good books and he has Rajesh on his side. What he does with all this power is going to be critical in his bid to bringing down Cherel! I love the fact that there is now someone else on Isidingo besides Barker who is standing up to Cherel!
