Who would have thought it? Cherel gets dumped by Eddie last night (Thursday). You can clearly see that Cherel is shocked by this as she never thought she would be the one getting dumped. I guess it is a sign for all those power hungry women out there that think they can have everything going their own way: think again, you can also be dumped!
This relationship from the get go was never going to work in my opinion. Cherel is just too bossy and Eddie, as quiet as he may be, also has a mind of his own and wants things to work out for him. It was never about the money in the relationship with Eddie, he actually thought that he could be in love with Cherel.
We saw a change in Cherel whilst she was dating Eddie, she actually became a nicer person but I can only imagine now what she is going to do now that she has been dumped. I think the old Cherel will be coming back.
Charlie will be very happy to hear the news that her dad has now dumped ‘the witch’!

Survivor : Isidingo is done. All the remaining survivors were rescued last night by ‘our’ resident super-hero, Daniel. And at least Harriet was not forgotten.
Before the rescue occurred, Barker and Kimberly had managed to start a ‘bush fire’ and I couldn’t help but notice a ‘spark’ rekindled between the two. They had a civil conversation together, which was surprising.
But I guess that dire situations can bring even the worst of adversaries together.
Daniel had not even shed a tear for Farrow, before he moved on to Kim.
Did he not feel anything at all for Farrow? And now with the reading of the will, he gives away his controlling interest to ‘unstable’
Benjamin. The Le Roux’s are in shambles. Where is the ever reliable Braam when you need him?
So it seems that Cherel still has the ‘hots’ for ‘Sherlock’ Holmes. I never thought she could be capable of love, or does she have an agenda to fulfill? You can never fully let your guards down, when coming to Cherel.
Is S’fiso fully sane? The look in his eyes is enough to intimidate the devil. He is a nut-case and the attack on Ace has Sifiso’s paws all over it. He plays dirty, I just got dirt on me, just by mentioning his name. Poor Prada, poor guy didn’t know what to do.
Drama galore!

Survivor : Isidingo, commenced last night. Who will outwit, outplay and outlast the rest?
Im your host ‘The Blogger’ and this is our first episode of Survivor :Isidingo. We have four contestants who will battle it out for getting rescued and getting back to their ‘normal’ lives. Who will outwit, outplay and outlast the others? This is Survivor : Isidingo. Where only the fittest will get the prize. And here are the players:
Our first contestant, Kimberly Haines is a mother of one and works at a hotel. She is such a girl scout, the odds are stacked up in her favour, she is the most favourite to win. She ascertained where True North was, and started talking about having travelled North East and how they should walk back South West. That to me sounds like someone who knows her way around places and most importantly how to survive.
Contestant number is a shrewd, savvy, self made businessman, Barker Haines. Will all his business acumen help him out in the jungle or will it prove worthless?
And let’s not forget that his heart is still ailing and not yet fully strong. But he has the wits to make up for all his physical shortcomings.
Our third contestant is Barker’s longest adversary. She is evil, lethal, ingenious and has the killer instincts. She has been married more times than memory can detect and she is Cherel Le Roux. She was born a survivor, if anyone can survive, it’s her. She has the highest survival odds of the bunch. She is well equiped for all the challenges ahead, infact she does not mind getting her hands dirty. She is the contestant to watch out for, highly revered.
Our fourth and final contestant is Miss Harriet Thompson, she is Barkers longest serving P.A and confidant. She has the least odds for survival.
These are our four contestants. Survivors ready? Go!…Let the games begin.

So much drama in The Deep. The arrest of Marlien has Sofia in a tight corner, she is feeling the heat, she wants to confess some supposed ‘truth’ that her father died at her hands. Little does she know that her father has been alive all along. Benjamin is the perfect puppet master, he is running the show and Sofia is none the wiser. How can anyone doubt a pathologist report? Benjamin really has Sofia dancing to his tune.
But it also looks like young ‘Benji’ is also feeling the pinch, his hands were trembling last night. Could he be crumbling under the pressure of this whole predicament he has put himself in?
Daniel is the only sane Le Roux, he really is his fathers son, he has the qualities of Braam. He is trustworthy and has an incorruptible moral compass. There’s no doubt in my mind that Daniel is indeed Braam’s son. I surmise that Sofia is adopted and that Benjamin is Fanie’s son, because Fanie too was devious. It’s a shame that Daniel has to carry all this load, let’s hope and pray that he’ll be the glue that holds this family together.
Some interesting revelations were made last night, apparently this animosity between Ayanda and Sifiso is due to the fact that, Ayanda believes that Sifiso was responsible for the death of her (Ayanda’s) son (Siyabonga)…Hmm! Can’t wait until all is revealed
What’s Cherel’s latest scheme? What project was she referring to? It certainly has Barker intrigued.
On a lighter side, Sechaba provides a much needed comic relief from the serious storylines of the show, he just cracks me up in laughter.
Kudos to him for a job well done.
Intrigue, intrigue and more intrigue. Can’t wait for the clock to hit 18h30…Til then guys…Ciao!

Cherel must be of the feline family, she has more lives than the household cat. She always manages to wiggle herself out of the most intricate situations, leaving our minds baffled. Certain songs, sung by certain celebrated individuals spring to mind when I think of Cherel’s attributes, ‘Smooth criminal’ and ‘Smooth operator’. I surmise that these songs were made with her in mind. With all that said, the real question still lingers on in most of our minds, when will Cherel get a taste of justice for all her atrocious crimes?
We all know that she is not responsible for Braam’s disappearance, but we somehow do wish that ‘karma’ will intervene and help deal Cherel her just dessert. For now all we can do is wait and see how the storyline unfolds. Cherel, the villain we all ‘love to hate’ or is it perhaps the other way around, the villain we all ‘hate to love’?
Now moving on to the LeRoux’s, will all the revelations of late destroy them? More so the recent one? Who amongst the children is an impostor? Okay maybe impostor is too harsh a word to use, who amongst the three is the odd one out? Marlien, Marlien, you should know by now that skeletons have a way of popping out of wherever they are placed.
Will the LeRouxs ever be the same again? The cancer (Cherel) that walked in their midst has irreparable destroyed them.
What do you think has happened between Ayanda and Sifiso? Why is there such bad blood between them? It looks like the Sibeko’s come with a whole lot of baggage and aren’t so squeaky clean after all.
Let us stay tuned to see what will be revealed…
HorizonDeep.co.za would like to welcome Mokhiri as part of the blogging team.

Braam Le Roux is dead, well atleast according to the storyline we are seeing now. Being a soapie we all know that anything can happen. Just look at Tau returning from the dead in Generations!
For now we have to believe what we are seeing and that is Braam was killed when Marlien burnt the house down and Braam was tied up in the cellar by Benjamin. What I find to be a bit frustrating though with the storyline is that why did they keep Braam to be alive for such a long time when they were going to kill him off in any case?
Now that the police have confirmed that Braam is dead, they are going to need to investigate further and find out what actually happened and who will be pinned with Braam’s death. As it stands now, Marlien is being charged for arson for burning down the house. If Braam was in the house and Marlien is guilty of arson will she then automatically be charged with the murder of Braam?
Will the police somehow find a way to prove that Cherel was responsible for somehow putting Braam in the cellar. How will they prove if Braam was alive or dead before the fire?
What about Sophia? She believes that she killed her father a long time ago. We all know that Benjamin is at fault for all of this but how are the police going to deal with it?

Braam and Cherel are back from their honey moon but there seems to be a problem as to why their honey moon did not go down well. Braam seems to have a problem in the bed room as he can not get it up! He has since gone for some tests and the doctors have to wait and see why Braam is not being able to satisfy Cherel in bed.
Knowing Cherel and her love of men, she must be very disappointed with Braam.
But besides the bedroom, Cherel is set on getting Braam to buy her Heines International as the first part of her plan to take over the Duncan. The battle for the Duncan is going to be very interesting now that Daniel is willing to take it over if Barker dies.

Cherel is at it again! She nicely drugged Marlien the other day and got her to start thinking about Fanie. To the extent that Marlien started mentioning Fanie’s name in bed with Braam! This would get any mans blood boiling. Cherel has been clever in what she is doing, she wants Braam to ‘break up’ with Marlien and she is using Fanie to do so. And all of this seems to be working for now in Cherel’s favour.
So now Cherel has taken advantage of Braam’s vulnerable state and she has told him that she loves him! Braam was shocked when Cherel told him this but he also feels the same way to the extent that teh two of them have now slept together. Cherel now has Braam where she wants him. It is going to be interesting to see how Cherel plays this one now.
On the other hand we have Barker who has now gotten Braam’s daughter to come back so he can tell her what is going on with her mother and how Cherel is up to something to spoil her parents relationship.
Before I end this post just one thing, can someone please shave Braam!!! That beard is terrible!!!

Cherel comes in peace? I seriously doubt that!
Yesterday, Barker setup a meeting to see Cherel at the Duncan and the two sat down and talked. Cherel was explaining to Barker that she comes back to The Deep in peace and is a changed person and just wants to get on with her life.
You could see that Barker does not buy this at all and neither do I. Cherel is obviously up to something and I guess it is only a matter of time until we find out what her plan is.
But it is always nice to see the all mighty powerful Barker being kept on his toes by Cherel.

Brooke Logan has nothing on Cherel de Villiers! Many soap opera fans think that Brooke Logan is ‘it’ on Bold and the Beautiful but we have our very own super woman on Isidingo in the form of Cherel! What she did last night to the Le Roux men was priceless!
They were all sitting around the table having lunch for Braam’s birthday when Cherel started to play footsie-footsie with Benjamin and his dad. Cherel started off with Benjamin and you could see that the boy was in shock as all he could do was just drink his wine. Cherel then moved onto Braam and he too was shocked with what was going on as he was left speechless. None of the men did anything about it and Cherel just went on and on, talking and laughing as if nothing was going on.
In the end, Benjamin then met Cherel in the passage and told her to go to his room and get undressed. Cherel turned the offer down and Benjamin kissed Cherel whilst his mum was only a few metres away. She interrupted the kiss but did not see it. That was a close shave and because of that Cherel told Benajamin that it is over between the two of them. I guess now Cherel wants to focus on Braam after the two of them had a passionate kiss when Cherel gave him his tie for his birthday present!
What are your comments on what Cherel did to the Le Roux men?
