We all know that Lettie passed away on the show after being run over by Paul but that was just part of the script. Lettie had been on the show for a wonderful 10 years and it was just time for her to move on and leave the show. According to a report on the Sowetan, Lettie will now take part in industrial theatre, straight theatre and poetry.

The curtain has finally come down on Lettie. Her funeral today was very sad and a rather moving moment. I really feel sorry for poor Neo who has lost his mum. On the other hand, I am not too sure if I feel sorry for Vusi as he was the cause of the accident. Parson’s speeach was really moving, especially the part he said, we have not only lost a mum, a wife and a daughter but also a sister. We will miss you Lettie and with that beaming smile you had that could light up any room. And as Georgie said, “That beautiful voice that could sing like a bird.”
