Filed Under (Benjamin, Recap, S'fiso) by Ron on January-9-2012

It seems like there could be a lot of deaths right now on Isidingo!

Sifiso had a shot at lolly but luckily Lolly is not dead but Sifiso could be! He ran away and called his father to come speak to him. Now Sifiso asked his father to kill him, and at the end of the episode on Friday we heard a gun shot so we have to wait until today to see if anyone did get shot or it was the police who got there and shot someone having being tipped of by Katlego on the whereabouts of Sifiso.

On the other hand, Benjamin has had enough with his life and was writing a letter to Daniel telling him that by the time he reads this he may be dead. I am not quite sure if Benjamin has the guts to kill himself.

Today’s episode is going to be very interesting as we await to see what will happen!

Does the word ‘family’ mean absolutely nothing to uncle Jefferson?

With family like him, who needs enemies? Let’s hope that Nikiwe finds out in time to salvage the situation.

Slu, Sechaba and Bra.G, provide some much needed comic relief on the show. We can’t always have intense storylines, we need that laugh from time to time and thanks to this trio, we do get our daily doses.

Barker is now playing GOD with the lives of others. Will Harriet succeed in stop him from having Kimmy ‘neutralised’?

What a dubious looking mercenary Barker has in his corner. Let’s hope he does’nt kill our beloved Kimmy.

Father and son are both obssessed with Ayanda. I wonder if the head of the Sibeko clan, Lincon Sibeko also has a ‘thing’ for Ayanda…?!

What is it with Ayanda that drives the Sibeko men crazy? She must’ve put a spell on them or something.

One can’t help but feel sorry for Ayanda, being linked up with S’fiso is a nightmare of sorts. Nikiwe described it best when she said, ‘…she (Ayanda) is like an abused woman, who has lost the will to fight…’

I can’t help but wonder why didn’t she take up Jefferson on her offer to ‘protect’ her? She must really be scared of this ‘psychopath’ that is Sifiso. My heart bleeds for you, Ayanda.

Let’s hope that the mess she has put herself in, will eventually have a happy ending for her. God help her.

Survivor : Isidingo is done. All the remaining survivors were rescued last night by ‘our’ resident super-hero, Daniel. And at least Harriet was not forgotten.

Before the rescue occurred, Barker and Kimberly had managed to start a ‘bush fire’ and I couldn’t help but notice a ‘spark’ rekindled between the two. They had a civil conversation together, which was surprising.
But I guess that dire situations can bring even the worst of adversaries together.

Daniel had not even shed a tear for Farrow, before he moved on to Kim.
Did he not feel anything at all for Farrow? And now with the reading of the will, he gives away his controlling interest to ‘unstable’
Benjamin. The Le Roux’s are in shambles. Where is the ever reliable Braam when you need him?

So it seems that Cherel still has the ‘hots’ for ‘Sherlock’ Holmes. I never thought she could be capable of love, or does she have an agenda to fulfill? You can never fully let your guards down, when coming to Cherel.

Is S’fiso fully sane? The look in his eyes is enough to intimidate the devil. He is a nut-case and the attack on Ace has Sifiso’s paws all over it. He plays dirty, I just got dirt on me, just by mentioning his name. Poor Prada, poor guy didn’t know what to do.

Drama galore!

Filed Under (Harriette, Kimberly, Recap) by Mokhiri on July-14-2011

Well what do you know, Kimberly has a heart of gold after all. Barker trying to make fire, what an amusing sight that was.

Cherel never ceases to amaze me. She is just pure evil. She is so evil, she leaves the devil smelling of roses. How can you not help your fellow survivors? Don’t you have a heart, you evil woman?

Where’s Harriette? She’s the one whom I imagine needs water much more. I just hope that those hyenas didn’t have their way with her.

Has Charlie finally opened her eyes to what/who Benjamin is? That is, a manipulative demon. How is she going to pay back Benjamin for how he used her?

That S’fiso is seriously obsessed with Ayanda. Do we have another Farrow on our hands, in the form of S’fiso? Skhu’ should seriously steer clear of this ‘crazy-eyed’ young Sibeko.

My heart just bleeds for kind hearted Rajesh, he deserves so much happiness, not all this heartache. And where’s Priya? Shouldn’t she be here supporting her man?

Is rescue on the way for the remaining survivors? Let’s hope so.

Another Survivor : Isidingo episode done and dusted. It looks like Barker’s ailing health is letting him down. Poor Harriet, she was never really in the contest to start with. Now the two strongest players go head to head. Will they work together or will each take their seperate routes?

Now out of the jungle and into The Deep. It looks like guilt has finally got the better of Benji. The burden of having to carry such a heavy secret, overwhelmed him, to a point were he had to spill his guts out and how convenient, it was at the doctor’s office. Could he be losing his mind? He certainly does seem unstable. He has lost his composure. Poor guy! He couldn’t even fully recite the Lord’s prayer.
Tough times.

Jefferson’s wife, Katlego, is venomous. She is totally trying to poison her husband’s mind and much to Jefferson’s annoyance. But it does seem as though she could be succeeding, the speech she made last night about Jefferson being a ‘footnote’ had him rattled. Will the ever cool, calm and collected Jefferson give into the mounting pressure Katlego has been distributing?

It looks like we have another Benjamin, in the form of S’fiso Sibeko.
He is such a sly character and near the border of incestuous. He calls Ayanda a ‘sister’, though not by blood, but he really would like to see their relationship go further than the ‘sibling’ path. Poor S’khu, he won’t know what hit him after this Sibeko ‘psycho’ is done with him.

‘Til later guys, enjoy!

Friday’s episode left a lot of people feeling slightly dissapointed with how the plane crash scene played itself out, myself included.

That was not the type of quality we have grown accustomed to from Isidingo. One viewer went as far as asking and bear with me as I am paraphrasing here, if the make-up department was on a tight budget? As the wounds themselves weren’t convincing. There was quite a furore after the screening of the plane crash scene, fans flooded messages of utter dissappointment and disbelief of the plane crash scene, on the Isidingo’s Facebook fan page.

My only hope is that Isidingo should now dazzle us with even greater television viewing to rinse out the sour taste of ‘the plane crash scene’, but knowing the creativity that emanates from the Isidingo cast and crew, I know that dazzle us, they will. I have no doubt about that.

Now that, that’s out of the way, do you guys think that Farrow made it? Is she dead or alive? I bet that’s the question on most of our lips today, in great anticipation for today’s episode.

Will this unfortunate incident make them get closer to each other? As has been said that, near death experiences makes one change their whole perspective on life. Will the trio (Barker, Cherel and Kimmy) let bygones be bygones and work together as a team to get out of this mess and help rescue themselves? Or will they continually bicker at each other?

Hmmm! I can’t help but be impatient for tonight’s episode. ‘Til my next blog, enjoy your day’s guys…

Friday 8th July.

That was possibly the worst episode ever of Isidingo, perhaps any soap episode. An air crash that looked so false as to be laughable. Only one death that was predictable, the rest looked like the car had broken down.

That aircraft unless almost stationary would have broken up on impact, it would have been impossible for anyone to survive let alone four of the passengers.

Very disappointed in the poor writing. Viewer for not much longer.
Tom.

Filed Under (Faro, Recap, Sechaba) by Mokhiri on July-8-2011

Yesterday’s episode took us aback, it had us gasping. It was totally unexpected. Pure genius from the writing department.

Farrow must really care deeply for Daniel, I mean to go to these great lengths to ensure that Daniel never again has to encounter this trio (Barker, Kimberly and Cherel). So now for the most pressing question, will this suicide/murder attempt succeed? What of Harriet? Will she perhaps change Farrows mind or will she just be collateral damage?
Talk about being at a wrong place, on a wrong time.

One can’t help but feel that Kimmy didn’t deserve this. With Barker and Cherel, it’s totally understandable. But with Kim, it’s another story all together. Has Farrow got no remorse for causing the death of Kimberly’s baby/foetus? What of Jody? Will he be left an orphan?

I can’t wait for tonight’s episode to see which direction this debacle will take.

It looks like the chickens have come to roost for Benjamin. His conscience has caught up with him, he’s in a hell of his own doing.
There is no greater justice than having your conscience haunt you for all your sinister ways.

Sechaba needs to grow up and start by taking some responsibilities.
Why is he blaming Vusi for a mess he, himself created? Vusi has been nothing but supportive and this is the thanks he gets? Open your eyes before time runs outs you fool…

Marlien and Sofia are saying their goodbyes. So is this the end for them? Most importantly, what’s the moral of this storyline? Is it that, if you have money, you can get away with anything? Will Daniel heed Sofia’s warning concerning Benjamin?

Has Farrow finally given up on life? I mean this girl has been through hell and back, why give up now after all she’s been through…?!

What does Lincon Sibeko want with Barker? Could he be informed of Barker’s recent acquisition? And what are these Sibeko invitations in connection with? Are the Sibeko’s orchestrating some plot against Barker? Hence the invitation of both Cherel and Kimmy…?!

Things are starting to look very interesting. What are your predictions? What do you think all this is in connection with?

Sechaba’s antics have dearly ruined the relationship between Bokamoso and the Sibeko’s. Will this business relationship be salvaged or has it been ruined way beyond saving?

Let’s hope all will be answered soon enough.
